Description
Mapei Ultracolor Plus is a high-performance, polymer-modified cementitious tile grout engineered in Italy for joints from 2mm to 20mm. As Mapei's flagship grout, Ultracolor Plus combines fast-set, quick-drying chemistry with the brand's proprietary BioBlock and DropEffect technologies — delivering professional-grade colour consistency, mould resistance and water repellency across the full installation envelope.
BioBlock antimicrobial protection actively inhibits the growth of mould and bacteria within the joint, preserving the original grout colour in bathrooms, kitchens, wetrooms and other high-humidity environments. DropEffect surface technology reduces water absorption into the grout face, so spills bead off rather than soaking in and staining — critical for light grout colours on kitchen floors and shower walls.
Rapid setting and quick drying chemistry mean grouted areas are walkable in hours rather than days. Suitable for both narrow joints on porcelain mosaics and wide joints on natural stone and external paving, Ultracolor Plus supports the full range of cement-grouted installations on walls, floors, internal and external substrates, including underfloor heating.
