Description
The ButylXpress Pro Self-Adhesive Waterproofing Tape is a general-purpose tanking tape for waterproofing joints, seams and movement points in tiled wet areas. Manufactured from a butyl rubber sealing layer bonded to a fleece carrier, it gives a watertight, fully bonded seal across substrate joints, board-to-board junctions and any straight-run detail that needs reinforcing.
As part of a certified bonded waterproofing system, the tape needs no separate adhesive, no slurry coat and no drying time. Peel the release liner, press the tape down, smooth it out, and the surface is immediately ready to tile — a major time-saver on site compared with traditional liquid-applied slurry tape installations.
The fleece face provides excellent adhesion for tile adhesive and other sealing components, while the butyl core delivers true waterproofing performance against splashes, prolonged moisture exposure and standing water. Use alongside ButylXpress Pro corners, collars and skirting tapes for a complete wetroom waterproofing system in a single product family.
