ButylXpress Pro Self-Adhesive Pipe Tanking Collar

The ButylXpress Pro Self-Adhesive Pipe Sealing Collar provides a reliable, watertight seal around pipe penetrations in tiled wet areas. Manufactured from a butyl rubber sealing layer bonded to a fleece carrier and pre-cut to fit common pipe diameters, it eliminates the most common cause of wetroom leaks — unsealed pipe entries.

As part of a certified bonded waterproofing system, the collar needs no separate adhesive, no slurry coat and no drying time. Peel the release liner, slide the collar over the pipe, press it down onto the substrate, and the surface is immediately ready to over-laminate with sealing tape and ready to tile straight after — a major time-saver on site.

The fleece face provides excellent adhesion for tile adhesive and sealing tapes, while the stretch-fit central hole grips the pipe to form a continuous barrier with the surrounding waterproofing membrane. Designed to work alongside the rest of the ButylXpress Pro range and our other wetroom installation components.

Suitable for: shower mixer pipework, bath tap penetrations, basin and WC supply pipes, wetroom radiator penetrations and other internal pipe entries.

Sizing Advice: For optimum waterproofing performance, select a collar with a hole diameter that closely matches the outside diameter of the pipe or penetration. The butyl rubber construction allows for minor dimensional variations while maintaining a watertight seal.
