Description
Pipe and cable penetrations are where wetroom waterproofing most often fails, so ButylXpress Pro seals them with a purpose-made stretch-fit collar. Manufactured from a self-adhesive butyl rubber sealing layer, the central hole grips the penetration tightly to form a continuous, watertight barrier around it.
The collar is offered in a range of sizes to match common services: 120 x 120mm with a 3mm bore for 2 to 3mm cables and small conduits, 140 x 140mm (12mm bore) for 10 to 12mm pipes, 150 x 150mm (16mm bore) for 14 to 16mm pipes, 200 x 200mm (42mm bore) for 40 to 42mm waste pipes, and a 250 x 250mm option.

Fit the collar around each penetration first and dress it into the surrounding ButylXpress Pro tanking tape. The walls and floors are then covered with the fleece-faced ButylXpress Pro membrane, which laps over the collar to give the finished, tile-ready surface.
