Description
The ButylXpress Pro Self-Adhesive External Corner is a pre-formed waterproofing detail for external corners in tiled wet areas. Manufactured from a butyl rubber sealing layer bonded to a fleece carrier, it creates a permanent, watertight seal at the corner — a critical point of any wetroom waterproofing system.
As part of a certified bonded waterproofing system, the corner needs no separate adhesive, no slurry coat and no drying time. Peel the release liner, press it into the corner, work out any air, and the surface is immediately ready to over-laminate with sealing tape and ready to tile straight after.
The fleece face provides excellent adhesion for tile adhesive and sealing tapes, while the butyl core delivers true waterproofing performance against splashes, prolonged moisture exposure and standing water. Compatible with all our wetroom installation systems.
