Description
The ButylXpress Pro Self-Adhesive Waterproofing Membrane is a high-performance bonded membrane for tanking walls and floors in internal wet areas. Manufactured from a butyl rubber sealing layer bonded to a fleece carrier, it forms a fully waterproof, permanently bonded barrier in bathrooms, shower enclosures and full wetrooms.
Unlike traditional liquid-applied tanking, ButylXpress Pro Membrane needs no separate adhesive, no slurry coat and no drying time. Peel the release liner, press the membrane onto the substrate, roll it down to expel air, and the surface is immediately ready to tile — no waiting between waterproofing and tiling, no risk of damp slurry trapping moisture in the build-up.
The fleece face provides excellent adhesion for tile adhesive, while the butyl core gives true waterproofing performance against splashes, prolonged moisture exposure and standing water. Supplied as a 550mm x 25m roll, designed for fast, repeatable application on bathroom walls and floors. Use alongside the wider ButylXpress Pro range — corners, collars, skirting and sealing tapes — for a complete, certified bonded waterproofing build-up.
