Description
The ButylXpress Pro Self-Adhesive Skirting Tape provides a continuous, watertight seal at the wall-to-floor junction in tiled wet areas. Manufactured from a butyl rubber sealing layer bonded to a fleece carrier, it bridges the most failure-prone joint in any wetroom — where the wall meets the floor — and ties the wall and floor waterproofing systems together into a single bonded build-up.
As part of a certified bonded waterproofing system, the tape needs no separate adhesive, no slurry coat and no drying time. Peel the release liner, press the tape into the corner, work it into the angle, and the surface is immediately ready to tile — a major time-saver on site compared with traditional liquid-applied slurry corners.
The fleece face provides excellent adhesion for tile adhesive, while the butyl core delivers true waterproofing performance against splashes, prolonged moisture exposure and standing water. Supplied as a 120mm x 10m roll, giving generous coverage on bathroom and shower-room perimeters. Compatible with all our other wetroom installation components.
