Description

Behind every tiled wetroom, a waterproofing membrane runs unseen along the wall-to-floor line and up into the corners. The problem comes years later: when perished silicone is raked out with a utility knife for re-siliconing, the blade can slice clean through that hidden tanking layer and open a silent leak nobody spots until damage is done. CutX Pro Aramid Cut Protection Tape stops that happening.

Bonded over the joint before tiling, this self-adhesive tape places a layer of high-strength aramid fabric directly in the path of the knife. The blade meets a barrier it simply cannot cut through, so the membrane behind stays intact through every future re-seal.
