Will it lift large format porcelain tiles?
Yes – it's designed for exactly that. A 1200x600mm 20mm porcelain slab weighs around 30–35kg, well within the 150kg rating. Use two cups for 1200x1200mm and larger sheets for better control.
Does it work on textured or riven stone?
It grips smooth and lightly textured surfaces. Deeply riven or very dusty surfaces won't hold a seal reliably – clean the surface and always check the gauge before lifting.
What is the gauge for?
The gauge shows the vacuum level inside the pad. Pump until the needle reaches the secure zone; if it drops while holding, the seal is leaking and you should re-seat the pad before lifting.
How do I release it?
Press the release valve on the pump head and the vacuum breaks instantly, letting the pad lift away cleanly.
Can it be used outdoors?
