Validus Structa Grey delivers the same high-performance flexible adhesive formula as Structa White, in a grey colour variant well suited to darker tile formats, slate, grey porcelain and most everyday professional tiling work. Classified EN 12004 C2 TE S1, it provides reliable S1 flexibility, extended open time and a 12-hour grout window that works with real-world site schedules.

Fibre reinforced and thixotropic, Structa Grey is equally at home on walls and floors, interior and exterior, over a wide range of substrates including concrete, screed, tile backer board and waterproofing membranes. It handles large format slabs with ease and is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems.

When to Choose Grey Over White

Grey adhesive is the standard workhorse choice for most tiling jobs — particularly where tile colour and grout shade mean any minor show-through at joints will not be visible. For dark porcelain, slate, stone with grey tones or any job using dark grout, grey adhesive is the practical default.

Suitable Substrates

Walls and floors, interior and exterior. Concrete and cement-based screeds, tile backer boards, heavy duty and trafficked areas, swimming pools, terraces and balconies, flexible waterproofing membranes. With appropriate primer: wooden substrates, gypsum boards, plasterboard and anhydrite screeds.

A primer is recommended on absorbent surfaces. Do not use on plastic or metal substrates or substrates subject to rising damp.
