Description

ThermoSphere Self-Adhesive Mesh 100W/m² is a fully self-adhesive electric underfloor heating mat designed to provide gentle, supplementary warmth beneath ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles in well-insulated rooms.

Applications

Best suited to well-insulated bathrooms, ensuites and kitchens where a gentle top-up of warmth underfoot is wanted rather than full primary heating, and to tiled wall applications.

Performance & Features

The self-adhesive backing sticks the mesh directly to the substrate wire-side down, protecting the cable while tile adhesive is applied over the top, giving a fast, tidy installation.

Compatibility

Requires a compatible ThermoSphere thermostat, such as the T-MO, for control. Fit over a rigid, stable substrate suitable for tiling.

Is 100W/m² enough to heat a room fully?
100W/m² is generally best used as supplementary warmth in well-insulated spaces; for primary heating consider the 150W or 200W mesh.

Can this go on walls as well as floors?
Yes, it can also be used under tiled walls in addition to floors.

What substrate does it need?
A rigid, stable, clean substrate suitable for tiling — check the datasheet for full substrate preparation guidance.

Is it safe for wet areas?
Yes, it's IP68 rated and suitable for bathrooms, showers and wetrooms when installed correctly.

Do I need a thermostat?
Yes, a compatible ThermoSphere thermostat is required and sold separately.
