Description

The Spectrum Plus Double Six Diamond Blade is a mid-tier general-purpose blade engineered for fast, efficient cutting across the full spread of materials a site contractor encounters in a normal working day. Its segmented rim features six laser-welded cooling holes that pull heat away from the cutting edge during sustained use — reducing the warping and premature wear that finishes off cheaper blades half-way through a job.

Primarily specified for concrete, brick, block and general masonry work, the Double Six handles paving, kerb-cutting, slab chasing and patio-prep cuts with the kind of pace contractors expect from a trade blade. The hard-bond segment also handles porcelain and ceramic tile cutting on angle grinders when a separate tile blade isn't to hand — useful on mixed jobs where one blade has to cover both substrates.

Compatible with 4.5" / 5" angle grinders, handheld petrol saws and bench-mounted masonry saws, the blade runs equally well wet or dry. Wet cutting gives the longest blade life and dust-free operation on enclosed sites; dry cutting suits the quick external pass where setting up a water feed isn't practical.

Spectrum's Plus range sits in the working middle of their blade hierarchy — built for the contractor whose blade gets used every day but doesn't want to pay top-tier Superior pricing for a general site blade. The Double Six is the most versatile member of that family.
