- Levels from 2mm up to 12mm in a single application
- Foot traffic after 4 hours, ready for tiling after 8 hours (5mm layer)
- Can be mixed with clean water or Palace Self-Level Latex Liquid
- Suitable for use with underfloor heating when mixed with latex
- Protein-free, low-odour formulation
- CT C20-F6 classified to EN 13813
Applications
Used by professional tilers, bathroom fitters, wetroom installers and builders to smooth and level solid sub-floors ahead of ceramic tiles, LVT, vinyl and other decorative floor coverings. Suitable for application over sand/cement screeds, tamped or worn concrete, tile backer boards, existing ceramic and stone tiles, plywood overlay, flooring-grade asphalt and epoxy DPM. Frequently Asked Questions
What thickness can Palace Self-Level be applied at?
It can be poured from 2mm up to 12mm in a single application, making it suitable for both minor levelling and deeper corrections across solid sub-floors.
How long before I can tile over it?
The area takes foot traffic after 4 hours and is ready for tiling after 8 hours for a 5mm layer, dependent on temperature, substrate and site conditions.
Can it be used with underfloor heating?
Yes. Mix Palace Self-Level with Palace Self-Level Latex Liquid rather than water to allow use over floors where under-tile heating is specified.
Is it suitable for anhydrite (calcium sulphate) screeds?
Yes, once the screed has been correctly prepared and primed with Palace Multi-Prime, and Palace Self-Level Latex Liquid is used in place of water.
What surfaces can Palace Self-Level be applied to?
Sand/cement screed, tile backer boards, existing ceramic and stone tiles, concrete slabs, plywood overlay, underfloor heating, flooring-grade asphalt and epoxy DPM, subject to correct surface preparation.
How much water do I need to mix a 20kg bag?
4.4 to 4.6 litres of clean water per 20kg bag, or the 5.0 litre bottle of Palace Self-Level Latex Liquid where improved adhesion or underfloor heating compatibility is required.
