Description
OUTDOOR PORCELAIN. SORTED.
CUT IT. LEVEL IT. LAY IT. CLEAN IT.
We've put together the key OX tools for outdoor porcelain installation in one ready-made kit — the equipment a landscaper or tiler actually needs for cutting, laying, levelling and finishing a porcelain patio, assembled as one order.
No hunting around for the correct levelling clips. No forgetting the wedges. No realising halfway through the job that the blade you've got isn't suitable for the setup — this kit covers both the large-format cut and the fine detailing work with the right blade for each.
WHAT'S IN THE KIT?
- OX Trade Washboy — mobile rinse station for the clean-up and finishing phase
- OX Pro Sponge Float — clears haze from porcelain during finishing
- OX Trade Notched Stainless Steel Trowel — 10mm — for laying the adhesive bed
- OX Pro Levelling Spacers, 5mm x 25mm (250 Pack) — the clip half of the levelling system, sized for thicker outdoor porcelain
- OX Pro Wedges (100 Pack) — reusable wedges that pair with the levelling clips
- OX Pro 2cm Porcelain Diamond Blade, 230mm — purpose-built for cutting 20mm-thick outdoor porcelain pavers on larger cutting equipment
- OX Trade Diamond Blade, 115mm — for the angle grinder cuts, detailing and adjustments landscapers make on site
- OX Trade Bucket Trowel, 180mm — for mixing and scooping adhesive and mortar
Two blades, because outdoor porcelain needs both
This kit is built around two dedicated cutting tools, not one general-purpose blade doing two jobs. The 230mm OX Pro 2cm Porcelain Diamond Blade is engineered specifically for the 20mm-thick porcelain slabs used outdoors, giving clean, chip-free cuts on the larger cutting equipment landscapers and installers rely on for the bulk of the job. The 115mm blade stays on hand for the angle grinder — the detailing, notching and on-the-fly adjustments that come up constantly on a patio installation and that a 230mm blade simply can't reach.
The 5mm x 25mm levelling clips are deliberately selected over the finer indoor sizes for the same reason: outdoor porcelain pavers run considerably thicker than standard wall and floor tile, and need a taller, wider clip to seat correctly and hold the tiles level while the adhesive cures.
Between the 10mm notched trowel for the adhesive bed, the bucket trowel for mixing, and the washboy and sponge float for finishing, this kit covers a porcelain patio installation from first cut to final clean-up. Every tool is genuine OX Trade or OX Pro specification.
FAQ
Why does the kit include two different blade sizes?
The 230mm porcelain blade handles the bulk cutting on larger equipment, while the 115mm blade stays on the angle grinder for detailing, notching and adjustments — the two jobs call for different tools.
Why 5mm x 25mm levelling clips rather than the finer sizes used indoors?
Outdoor porcelain pavers are considerably thicker than standard indoor tile, so a taller, wider clip is needed to seat correctly and hold the tiles level while the adhesive cures.
Is this kit suitable for professional use, or is it an entry-level set?
It's built entirely from OX Trade and OX Pro tier tools — the same specification landscapers and tilers use day to day on outdoor porcelain installations.
Can I use this kit for indoor tiling as well?
The components are specified for outdoor porcelain — for indoor work, our OX Professional Tiler Kit uses trowel, levelling and blade sizes suited to standard indoor tile.
Can the components in this kit be bought individually if I need a replacement?
Yes — every tool in the kit is also listed individually on millcot.com, so a replacement blade, trowel or top-up pack of clips is always available.
Is this kit suitable for builders and landscapers moving into porcelain patio work, not just specialist tilers?
Yes — it's a genuine working kit for anyone installing outdoor porcelain, whether that's a landscaper, a builder or a tiler taking on external work.
