Description
Kerakoll Aquastop Nanoflex Single-Component Waterproofing Membrane 20kg
Kerakoll Aquastop Nanoflex is a certified, eco-friendly mineral waterproofing membrane engineered with nanotech technology to deliver reliable, flexible protection to floors and walls before tiling. Supplied as a single-component, ready-mixed powder, it is breathable, anti-alkali and chlorine-resistant, making it a trusted choice for professional tilers and wetroom installers who need a dependable tanking solution beneath ceramic, porcelain, mosaic and natural stone finishes.
Thanks to its nanotech-enhanced formulation, Aquastop Nanoflex offers permanent elasticity, crack-bridging performance even at low temperatures, and around 30% better coverage than comparable two-component waterproofing systems — reducing material use without compromising protection.

FAQ
Is Kerakoll Aquastop Nanoflex a single or two-component system?
It's a single-component, ready-mixed powder — simply add water and mix. There's no separate liquid resin component to measure out.
Can I tile directly over Aquastop Nanoflex once it's cured?
Yes. Once the minimum 24-hour curing period has passed, ceramic, porcelain, mosaic and natural stone tiles can be fixed directly on top using a suitable cement-based adhesive.
Is it suitable for shower enclosures and wetrooms?
Yes, Aquastop Nanoflex is widely used for waterproofing shower enclosures, wetroom floors and walls prior to tiling.
How many coats do I need to apply?
A minimum total thickness of 2mm is required, applied in coats of no more than 1.5mm each, so most applications need two coats with at least 6 hours drying time between them.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, it's suitable for internal and external applications, including terraces, balconies and swimming pools.
What substrates is it compatible with?
Mineral and cement-based screeds, existing ceramic or marble tiles, well-anchored natural stone, cement plasters/renders and aged concrete. It's not suitable for gypsum, anhydrite, metal, timber or bituminous surfaces.
