DecoupleX Anti-Fracture Membrane
A ultra-thin, high-performance decoupling membrane designed to prevent stress transfer from the substrate into ceramic and natural stone floor coverings.
This innovative fleece–fabric–fleece composite structure effectively absorbs shear and tensile stresses, preventing cracks and movement in the substrate from affecting the finished surface. With an installation thickness of just 0.7 mm, it is ideal for renovation projects where minimal build-up height is essential.
The membrane also enables the creation of removable tiled surfaces and is particularly suitable for use with ceramic tiles, slabs, and natural stone.
Easy to cut and install, DecoupleX Anti-Fracture Membrane provides excellent stress relief, high tensile strength, and reliable crack-bridging performance for long-term floor stability.
For external applications, the substrate must be protected with a waterproofing slurry (1- or 2-component) prior to installation.
Made in Germany.
Permissible residual moisture levels:
- Cement screed: unheated 2%, heated 1.8%
- Anhydrite screed: unheated 0.5%, heated 0.3%
