Larsen Concrete & Screed Fibres are monofilament polypropylene fibres formulated to provide secondary reinforcement within concrete and screed mixes. When dispersed through the mix, they create a three-dimensional fibre matrix that significantly reduces plastic shrinkage cracking, improves impact resistance and enhances the overall durability of the cured substrate.
Used as a cost-effective alternative or complement to steel mesh reinforcement in screed applications, they are particularly beneficial in thin-section screeds where crack control is critical prior to the installation of floor coverings.
