Its buffered inorganic acid formulation is as effective against stains and efflorescence as much stronger acids (muriatic, sulfuric, etc.) without producing the dangerous toxic fumes those acids give off, and it contains surfactants that give it a genuine detergent action alongside its acid clean.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eDilute between 1:5 and 1:10 with water depending on the level of soiling and the surface being treated — or use undiluted to strip engobbio from porcelain and ceramic material. Apply the diluted solution, leave in contact for around 5 minutes, work over the surface with a single-disc cleaning machine or emulsifying pad, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
